MX Dystopia

I set myself a brief to create a product that could be free of environmental guilt. I wanted to find a way to source existing fabric that could be re purposed or up-cycled to give it a new life. Silk was the obvious choice as it maintains its quality and luxury feel.
The brand name MX Dystopia comes from a future focused ethos; MX being the non-gendered prefix to unify our modern society, and dystopia being the a common feature of science fiction literature that warns us of the potential downfalls of humanity.
Mission statement:
Every scrap of fabric is precious, when we let go of our possessions they usually end up in landfill. MX Dystopia's mission is to reclaim the unwanted fabric in the world and transform it into new products so they can live on.
